Dr. Gerson Reyes Rodríguez is a distinguished
neurosurgeon, graduated from the National Medical Center
"La Raza" of IMSS in Mexico City, where he also served
as chief resident from 2019 to 2020.
His advanced training includes a fellowship in Vascular
Surgery at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil,
and a specialization in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
at ABC Medical Center in Santa Fe, certified by UNAM.
Since 2020, he has been an active member of the Latin
American Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (FLANC)
and the Mexican Association of Spine Surgeons (AMCICO).
He has also participated in numerous national and
international courses and holds certifications in
Endoscopic Spine Surgery from renowned institutions in
the United States and Germany.
In the field of research, Dr. Reyes Rodríguez has
contributed to several publications in the area of
neurosurgery.
Among them, his work on the MINTED technique for
posterior fossa decompression in Chiari I malformation
stands out, as well as technical studies on Endoscopic
Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ELIF) and the benign evolution
of a loose screw in C3.
His research has been published in the prestigious
journal Archives of Neurosurgery, reflecting his
commitment to advancing neurosurgery and continuously
improving minimally invasive surgical techniques..
